@thegirderclub: The Talmag Trophy Trial, held in Aldershot, is one of the premier events in the Pre-65 Trials calendar. There were a handful of Girder Fork motorcycles this year, including this BSA M19. The M19 is a 350cc four-stroke OHV single-cylinder motorcycle, often referred to as the "350cc OHV de Luxe". As you can see in this video, they could be adapted to handle the most tricky of terrain - in this case, the dirt and slopes of Hungry Hill. I’d absolutely love to have a go at this I learned to ride trials bikes years ago when I was in my youth firstly on a Yamaha TY 80 and a TY 175 before moving on to motocross bikes but I’ve always had love for trials bikes like fantics montesa and beta I used to leaping and balancing at a standstill on slippery logs and seesaws and up and climbing up waterfalls at crazy angles and slow speeds with perfect clutch control to prevent stalling and I was definitely a little bit like and maybe probably better than Dougie Martin Lampkin the rather famous trials bike rider from back in the day and if I’d kept it up I could have been a contest on the UK tv show kickstart 👀🤔👌
