Is this virtual SLP? Virtual would not necessarily be sufficient for the needs you describe he has in your videos. Working with kids one to one developing relationship in person is such a different experience but I know it is not available to everyone. I've been at OTR for 22 years and the Autism Therapy center I work in literally had no occupational therapist before I started and still does not have speech at this time. I know that can be frustrating, especially when you're trying to survive. Good job Cam, this is not easy. Limited communication coupled with sensory and emotional dysregulation It's extremely hard on a child. Definitely rooting for him🤗

OT here! I recommend putting a visual timer on your phone (e.g, countdown app) and set it up for 5-10mins. This will let him build flexible thinking through trust of when the timer will be done, we are actually done. In addition, provide a fidget or something like TheraPutty (for a calming effect) that would keep his hands busy.
