If God does not need a cause, why would the universe need one? Perhaps the universe itself is eternal, or there is an as-yet unknown physical explanation.

Humans want a god. Something that will lessen the fear of the unknown and fear of death. Something that will help them deal with their inevitable death. I believe in god because it’s comforting to think there’s something out there always looking out for people. No matter how illogical it is

You can’t keep saying who created god and then who created the creator of god which is illogical in itself, it will continue endlessly. You can’t comprehend what god is we are only programmed by god to think and see and comprehend to a certain level just like how we code ai to think to a certain level, god is infinite and we can’t comprehend what that is.

Saying what created god has no sense as we believe and a lot of scientists believe that there’s a high probability that there’s a superior thing something that surpasses all physical laws cause they are things that we don’t have answer for just like what created the universe and therefore we have to admit that it’s possible that a superior thing might exist something that’s beyond our world

why does god have to have a reason? listen, I get it. it's significantly more illogical that god exists rather than logical god does exist. but not everyone believes that god has a reason for existing. some people, like me, believe in god to believe that something comes after. some people, again me for example, believes in god because it makes them feel less small. living in a universe where we know no one else lives in for atleast a light-year in all directions is really daunting. and kinda scary. sure, lots of people live on earth. but... that's it. that's ALL we know exists. that mere fact is horrifying. and extremely lonely. idk. I'm not gonna try 'convert' anyone to god. but doesn't believing that it gets better one day when we die just... comforting? idk bro. live how you want lol

no disrespect to anyone. but, I feel like religion kind of over complicates everything in life. like worrying about sin, paying money to churches, etc. along with the fact that there is no definitive proof that anything in the Bible has actually happened. I mean, it all sounds very far-fetched. Moses separating the red Sea? god turning water to wine? people with divine powers. resurrection. thats just my opinion. it all just sounds way too far fetched to be real.
