it's crazy how what kind of school truly dictates on how you would be treated. when kid actors came to my middle school growing up we would get so excited and just try to be their friend. to think she got bullied for it is so sad.

I’m the same age as her and I can say that the teachers in those days were absolutely terrible and they were always the problem and so terribly mean

Omg!! I had teachers do the same to me!! I don’t remember it happening that early but definitely like 2nd-3rd grade it started until 8th. Went to a small catholic school so the teachers def gossiped and decided I was the target. I think it was bc I was a very sensitive as a kid and the easiest to get a reaction out of. my parents didn’t protect me either, I don’t think it was intentional tho. I think they just thought the teachers were telling them the truth and when I would come home and say the teachers were treating me bad, they would punish me bc they believed the teachers.
