🚨 SMALL BUSINESS VULNERABILITY POST 🚨 I didn’t sell any of these cuties. I feel a little disappointed, but not with anyone or anything because ultimately I understand that that’s the reality of this kind of business! My mind is going on a bit of a ‘journey’ if you will 🤣 and is going through all of the thoughts: ‘Does no one like my stuff?’ ‘Is my stuff too expensive?’ ‘Is my stuff too weird?’ ‘Why am I doing this again?’ ‘I feel like my earrings are just as good as ‘X’, but why wasn’t I more successful this time?’ ‘Does my Instagram page look stupid?’ Etc… I’m sure a lot of other small businesses go through these same thoughts at times, as well! I’m not sharing this for pity, and I don’t want anyone to purchase anything from me because they feel sorry for me - I’m more so sharing this so that people can see both the good AND the hard and understand that being a small business owner is tough! There are so many ups and downs and not every product drop will be successful, and that’s OKAY (even if it can sting a little 😂). Will I give up? No, I won’t. Will I stop creating what makes me happy and try to make what I think other people like? No, I won’t. I will keep trying to reach my goals with Moon Island Co. even if this latest product drop wasn’t as successful yet as I had hoped. Thank you for your continued support!
