@jackrein316: I think that Legoland is a good park to start at if you’re interested in trying a theme park with your kids and practicing what you might need to do at a larger scale in Disney. I also think it’s just as fun as Disney if you remove the nostalgia factor of Disney and Legoland has a lot of of themes that are really fun for little kids like Peppa Pig. #legoland

legoland is perfect for younger kids and is a great budget friendly option. but there aren’t ton of options for older kids/teens

Disney is like Times Square, looks cool on tv but when you get there it’s actually just a sea of people all trying to have a magical moment while being completely surrounded by advertising

I don't think a parent should take their kid to Disney until they meet the hight requirement for like 95% of the rides

Another option is Hersheypark. I’ve been to both Disney and Hersheypark and I find Hershey to be more family friendly and great for first time park goers.. you’re not overstimulated and and there’s enough to do for a young family

If your kids are 3-4 they would have equal fun at a kid friendly museum for a fraction of the price

I’ve taken my kids to Disneyland twice and they were so overwhelmed. I recognized it, asked if they wanted to leave and they didn’t want to leave bc they knew I saved for it. Haven’t been back and they care to go again :/ but they love Legoland!

$289 for ONE Disneyland ticket here in SoCal is ridiculous. Plus you still have to incorporate food, snacks, and maaaaybe souvenirs. You get on like maybe about 7 solid rides. Walt is turning in his grave for how they are ripping people off.

Universal over Disney, fun rides, their favorite Marvel superheros, Minions, Shrek, Harry Potter world, Dr Seuss and more all in one park, well technically two parks one location.

THE WORLD IS HEALING My 13 year old *NSYNC obsessed & BSB hating self would disown me but now I am free. In the boyband era, you could only pick one boyband as the reigning champion of your teen girl heart. “You must pick a favorite, and despise the other with all of your might” they said. At least that’s how my little teenybopper brain interpreted things back in Y2K. Of course I chose *NSYNC, and hated Backstreet Boys with a fiery passion. In my early 30s I watched the documentary The Boy Band Con - the story of *NSYNC & BSB’s mutual manager Lou Pearlman and how he deliberately created the rivalry: “If Backstreet ends up being a dominant brand like Coke, someone is going to come along and create a Pepsi. We might as well beat them to it.

We might as well beat them to it." - Lou Pearlman This was the beginning of my personal journey of deconstructing boyband propaganda. I realized I had literally been mind controlled by a con artist and that was a real mind fck for me. But it wasn’t until BSB announced their run at the Sphere last year that the programming really started to crack. Karl grew up in a BSB household and expressed a desire to go. It was then that I began to let the powers of true love heal my hateful heart and purify my soul. I even sent my sister a voice memo (slightly shamelfully) admitting to the transformation that was happening inside of me. “They have unedeniable bops!” she replied. I knew she was right. So I did some exposure tharapy and Karl & I got tix. And the show was frickin awesome. I danced. I was amazed. I made friends with BSB girls. And most of all I finally stopped pretending I don’t know every word to Backstreet Boys songs and freed the lyrics that have lived inside my body since TRL against my will. Ultimately, I healed. So let it be known far & wide: THE BOYBAND RIVALRY IS OVER. *NSYNC Rules. BSB Rules. Peace on Earth & Undemiable Bops for ALL. #backstreetboys #bsb #nsync #bsbsphere #boyband
