Tips for keeping your clothes less smelly and where I got everything listed below 👇🏼👇🏼 Alright let’s talk about smell first… To start, natural fibers >> synthetic fibers Natural fibers (linen, merino wool, bamboo, etc) Synthetic fibers (polyester, nylon, acrylic) The natural fibers will breathe more and are going to hold onto odors less than a synthetic fiber. Merino wool is my top pick as you can wear those items for DAYS on end without noticing a smell at all. Yes, natural fibers are more expensive but they are an investment that will last longer than the alternative options. Another note, don’t leave your clothes crumpled on the floor overnight. I have noticed that it helps immensely to flip them inside out and hang them up to air overnight. Bonus points if you can find a spot to air them out outside, and any time in the sun will help immensely. I recently bought some merino wool bras and underwear from @branwynofficial and am super stoked to try those out because I’ve been searching for good merino base items for what feels like forever. Thanks @kellienicole for posting about them!! Now for the clothes I brought on this trip… “Jeans”: @ripton_co Women’s Twill Utility Pant Romper: @freepeople Hot Shot Romper Turtlenecks: random/thrifted (I did recently get a merino black turtleneck from @unboundmerino ) Black waffle knit: thrifted Jean button ups: thrifted Black puffy jacket @cotopaxi Fuego (no hood) Socks: @darntoughvermont and @smartwool Shoes: @blundstoneusa Rustic Black Chelsea Boots Hooded scarf: hand knit via Sophie Hood pattern Since the first part of this trip was to ski, I had base layers, outerwear gear and snow boots that were only used for that portion! #packwithme #minimalistpainting #onebagtravel
