He decided to get Marlow trained at a board and train that he’s heard of through word of mouth while he gets a major surgery & recovers for a few weeks. It’s not my place to tell my neighbor what to do with his own dog. I also didn’t know the extent to how they used adverse tools until I saw the training videos. It made me really upset, that I even cried watching them. Traumatizing. I’m sad that training like this exists. I don’t believe that it works. I believe it’s cruel to use pain or unnecessary force to teach a dog what to do. My number 1 focus is on the dog’s emotional state, and tbh, I just don’t understand how other people don’t see it the same way.
