Hey Everyone, wanted to come on here to say it is okay that you booked through ferry hopper or Direct Ferries. The reason why I don't recommend it is because if there is a cancellation or something happens, it is a lot harder to rebook or get a refund rather than booking directly with the ferry company! Happy and safe travels 😇

Hi, I will travel around the Ionian islands his Summer in July. I‘m struggling to find ferries that operate between Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Ithaka and Lefkada. Do you think getting a ferry ticket there will be fine or do I need to book in advance? (I‘ll travel without a car).

Just wondering what you think about open-date tickets. I was thinking to book an open date ticket to IOS from port Piraeus on Seajets. I’m just worried since our ticket won’t have an assigned seat till we choose which ferry we want, will it be booked up by the time we decide in late if it’s the day of the ferry??
