Why YOU should DOMINATE your mind part 2 #men #mindset #tipsformen #mensgrowth #SelfImprovement
Researchers at the University of Utah published this in Molecular Psychiatry in September 2025. They found two different types of microglia, which are immune cells inside your brain, that have opposite effects on anxiety. One type suppresses anxiety and the other type promotes it. Basically a built in brake and accelerator fighting each other. The reason this is a big deal is because every anxiety medication on the market targets neurons. Not immune cells. So if this research holds up, it could explain why some people never really respond to treatment. Their neurons were never the problem. Worth noting this was done in mice and human trials are still years away. But the implications are huge. Source: Van Deren et al.
