@michellesfresh: Industry gossip is common, everyone participates to the extend that —there used to be several major trade magazines (nicknamed “top sheets”) whose entire playbook was to report hot gossip while also using shared info as promotional strategy for label promo priorities. So this is nothing new. But what happened to Larry feels different. It’s not strategic or informative, it’s rage. Considering the systemic attack currently IN PROGRESS on black people in this country, the reversion of rights, the demonization of “DEI” in corporate spaces (that benefitted white women more than anyone check the research receipts on that one) there is a very LOUD effort if you pay even an ounce of attention, to destabilize, terrorize and disenfranchise black and brown people as a means of policy, leadership in business, and general participation in the future. FOH if you can’t see this five alarm fire. #musicbusiness #musicindustry #gossip #nextgenleaders
