work at Sunbake and I was present when Tshwane Municipality visited our plant. The production area where bread is made was inspected and no faults were found. The plant is clean and operates according to standards. There is another separate area where damaged dough, flour, and poor-quality bread are thrown away. These products are NOT used again for baking bread. Some people heard the words “recycle dough” and misunderstood it. Let us think practically: if dough falls on the ground at home while baking, would you still use it to bake for your family? The answer is no. In the same way, damaged dough at the plant is discarded and can be used for animal feed, not for making bread for customers. Please do not spread wrong information without understanding the full situation. Thank you.
