Not a perfume but I still have this lip balm from 2024. Every time I smell it, it hurts. Not because of the scent itself, but because it brings me back to an entire year of my life. The good memories, the painful ones, the people I met, the moments I wish I could relive, it all comes rushing back the second I open it. It’s strange how something so small can hold so much. To anyone else, it’s just a lip balm. But to me, it’s a time capsule, carrying pieces of a version of myself that no longer exists. And maybe that’s why I’ve kept it all this time. Not because it’s a lip balm, but because it holds a year I’ll never get back.
