Priming is imperative but this is not priming problem. This either screeding or bad wall problem or both.

To avoid this,firstly your screeding must have enough gum so as to reduce excessive dusting during sandpapering,secondly after sandpapering you have to use broom and sweep out all the dust that lies on the surface of the screeding,thirdly do not use excessive thick satin paint,if the satin is too thick then you reduce the thickness using water to lighten it,fourth it’s ideal to use 8kg which is normal quantity of gum,10 to 12kg of acrylic gum is standard,anything above that is excess which may not be okay because anything in excessive quantity has a lot of disadvantages,shalom.

priming is very important but the fault is from the wall.. is either suffering from dampness or poor labour... ( not enough gum,or low quality matters for the screeding

Priming is not the problem the main problem is that the wall is absolving water 💦 even you do priming so far there’s linkage inside the wall there’s a problem,peace and love ❤️

Bro trust me this has nothing to do with priming actually. The error came from poor skimming mixture. The painter probably didn’t use enough PVA and TopBond. That water stain is something you can’t escape totally. You just control and it will take longer than show up again 🙌🏾🙌🏾
