@noahgoinscomics: #alexmaleev is so versatile that is own work completely unrecognizable from one piece to the next. Hearing his story about working on pretty much the only comics Bulgaria had to offer when he was growing up was so interesting… His Journey to the US led him to discovery artists like Simon Bisley, and Alex Toth while studying at the Kubert School, artists he had known nothing about. But previous to coming to the states he studied printmaking and etching for about 8 years.
