Met a celeb actor once, told them I loved their work, and then apologized that they probably heard it 1000 times 😅 They said “that’s okay bc one day, people will stop saying it.” Never feel bad about giving a compliment.

Frankie Muniz came into my work (Walgreens) and needed change for the water machine. I didn’t have enough change in my drawer, and neither did the other register. So I had to do math and I looked up at him confused, and he looked at me like “don’t look at me I’m not the math guy😳”. I figured it out and when he left I felt extra stupid. 😂

I gave my favorite music artist a piece of my artwork, she told me she would hang it above her bed. I think genuine celebrities really care and want to interact with their fans properly. When they care, they show that they care.

Idk I look at this way, if I had created something that made others happy I’d love to hear that my work had a positive impact, even if I heard the same thing 1000 times a day. And from the fan side of it, it’s just nice to show my gratitude and helps me feel rooted in the fact that they’re also humans and it’s nice for us all to be nice to each other idk lol

this!! i think seeing a celebrity at a show is one thing, but seeing them in public is so unimportant. like if i payed to see them in concert im gonna scream and cry probably. i see them walk past me in the airport or on the street? who cares 😭 they’re just a person

Nah, it’s actually a beautiful feeling. Some of my idols literally saved my life with their art and it’s such a wonderful thing to even say a small thanks for your art. I always had super sweet interactions and sometimes even chats about characters or music

For me it’s the same feeling when you recognize your local grocery worker at a gas station. Weird to see them in a different setting, but you’re not gonna go up and talk to them about how wild it is. Cause of course they’re there…they’re a person too.
