This homemade chocolate syrup is just as rich and thick as store bought, but so much better when you control what goes into the recipe 2 c sugar 1 c water 1/3 c cocoa powder 1 T vanilla extract Combine sugar and water in a medium pan. Heat on medium until sugar is completely dissolved. Once sugar is dissolved add cocoa powder. Stir until thoroughly combined. Bring mixture to steady boil. Stir constantly and boil for 3 minutes.
