I agree. My little cousin plays for Coventry youth team currently. And without even sounding biased..he is arguably the best in his youth team..when he wants to be. He’s had a few challenges here and there (hear operation) that’s slowed down his development. But from young I’ve always said to him these academies don’t just look at your ability..you have to have the hunger and on top of that be someone marketable. They definitely look at your background, up bringing and your entourage. It’s that old saying we have to work 10x harder to get half a chance.
