He was among six people who lost their lives in the incident. The accident occurred over Recreio dos Bandeirantes in Rio de Janeiro, when two helicopters collided mid‑air and then crashed onto a parking lot. A large fire broke out at the crash site, engulfing dozens of parked cars. According to CNN Brasil, the deaths were confirmed by the civil police, while preliminary details about the incident were provided by the fire department. The artist was 32 years old. Oliver Tree Nickell was born on June 29, 1993, in Santa Cruz, California. The musician explored various genres throughout his career. He started releasing music under the name Tree in 2010.
