My 1st encounter with a NY cop was a traffic situation. I was wrong but I let him know that this was his investigation and my intentions was full compliance. In doing so, He helped me tremendously being that I was lost. He told me that my positive behavior made a huge difference in our interaction. I told him that I think people who react negatively, loud, and violent to COPS are crazy!
