bullying is not okay but in the actual show Marinette was never so scared of chloe...she's stood up to her many times and never took her harsh words or actions to hard....they changed ts too much

Why didn’t marinette act like this over Lila? She’s so much worse. Chloe is just an average mean character. Lila actually got on everyones nerves. Marinette also used to clock Chloes tea over and over again.

"Marinette was never that scared of Chloe" It's a build up of emotional trauma since kindergarten. She worked up courage over the years but when Chloe left she felt immense relief. With her back, that trauma and fear returned as well.
