AI can’t even count to 100 and i’m supposed to believe it solved an unsolvable problem?

they didn't. they Ai showed that the problem could be solved using another method than the standard way using algebra.

I actually looked it up. the LLM didn't solve anything, it disproved the existing assumption of what the lower bound of a problem was. most mathematicians have actually focused on trying to prove that it is the minimum rather than disproving it. What the LLM did was pretty straightforward but since most mathematicians had been looking for a proof rather than a counterexample, no one found it. It didn't have some crazy new idea about how to lay out the points, people were just not looking for a counterexample at all. the LLM didn't even find the true minimum, as a new one has already been found by Will Sawin. Experts working on the problem even say that it would not have been able to do it without human intervention. It also plagiarized others works as it's own discoveries.

Not true. All AI currently is limited to its datasets. Coming up with solutions people haven't yet solved still uses the same information, its just the way the ingredients are put together. AI will never reach its full potential until you actually teach it how to think differently and that requires a highly intelligent person or people. None of the AI companies have that.

Not true the limitation of transformers models are that they can never create that they haven’t seen or think out side the box(data base)

A whole lot was coming out of his mouth but absolutely nothing was said. Not a single sentence on what the actual problem was

They didn’t solve a problem, they found a counterexample that disproved the presumed solution.

This story is false, ai still hasn’t done anything like he is claiming, just wants us to watch it and why he doesn’t say said solution and problem.
