Nothing says they HAVE TO BE from Roshar — just that they were Unmade by Odium to oppose Tanavast and his Heralds. I think Reshephir — the midnight mother in the thumbnail is a good example — I think she was The Darkness, an entity that’s from Pre-Rashek/Alendi Scadrial. She was found by odium and Unmade, turning the power to only make undead horrors from her midnight essence, into one that could make anything they wanted.

I think they were the spren of the Silver Kingdoms. Or maybe the cities that would become the capitals of the Silver Kingdoms. Like, the places that Honor and Cultivation sang into existence like 10,000 years ago

My personal theory is that they were all some sort of what we’d call a Spren/Spirit/Sliver/Something-That’s-Not-A-Shard before Odium got to them, wanting to create a counter for Honor and Cultivation’s creation of the Bondsmith Spren. For example, I think the Midnight Mother used to be an Aether.

Were the Unmade mentioned before Oathbringer? I remember being surprised by the mention of the Midnight Mother.

[Dawnshard + Oathbringer Spoilers!!!] what’s interesting too is that when Rsyn takes up the dawnshard, it mentions the concept of being “Remade”, and in Oathbringer one of the ancient Radiant messages alludes to the fact that THEY are to blame for the Unmade on Roshar

I also think that it's very important to note about what happened to Nergaoul, and that it may still be accessible by someone using the surge of transportation, such as an elsecaller.

I wanna know more about ba ado Mishram. And I REALLY want to see her ascend into a shard. I thought she would take honor because honor refused to be taken by a human
