I went crazy drinking underage and blacked out A LOT. Bad things probably happened but I’ll never know for sure. By the time I was actually 21 I didn’t really drink anymore.

No I was an alcoholic by the time I turned 16. Whatever the legal drinking age is doesn’t matter. The ppl who are more vulnerable will still be no matter how old they are. Education around needs to be done.

U can blame ur state government. The US allowed every state to choose the drinking age. However, the federal government will only fund a state’s highway if their age is above 21+ to prevent drinking driving.

nah she’s right. my mom let me drink (in extreme moderation ofc) and it was never a huge thing for me. i knew how to pace myself and not to overdo it by the time i was 21 and didn’t feel like i needed to get it whenever i could🤷🏻♀️

I live in Canada where at sixteen you can drink alcohol under the supervision of a sober adult at home, and I'm 20 now and already bored of alcohol. the fact that the American drinking age is 21 is horrifying to me

in new Zealand you can drink at basically any age with parental supervision, and by yourself at just 18
