Let me tell you why they’re hungrier. A Singaporean earning $3,000 — that’s barely enough to survive here. A Malaysian earning $3,000 Singapore dollars — that’s over $9,000 Ringgit. Of course he’s hungry. Of course he works harder. Of course he stays later. That’s not a talent gap. That’s a currency gap. And that recruiter knows it. But here’s what really gets me. These same companies want you to buy their products. Want you to use their services. Want your money. But not your children. Not your kids. So what do we do about it? You can be angry at the system. Or you can do what I did. When I grew my company to 148 employees and blue chip clients — I didn’t compete on cheap. I operated where no one could compete with me. That’s what I want for your kids.
