Opening a 62-year-old lifeboat survival ration can. This emergency ration was originally stored on lifeboats aboard the British Cunard ocean liner Queen Mary in the early 1960s. Inside the can were 48 survival biscuits, designed to be high-calorie, compact, and easy to digest in case of a maritime emergency.
