@downtoinvest: the investment order everyone posts on tiktok is not universal. a 30yo saving for a house in 5 years should not be maxing their 401k before opening a brokerage account. context matters. I am all about having a system and a framework which I will be sharing more about soon but just know to take this stuff and make sure to apply it to your own situation education only investment order, 401k vs brokerage account, investing in your 30s, where to invest first, personal finance tips 2026
It’s always missing HSA. and based upon TT comments on videos people are wildly hsa-illiterate. It’s one of the best places to put money especially when you are young and have a family, and time for compound tax free growth.

Hello, I notice that no one ever helps women who are over 40 childfree and happily single. I would love to learn how and what to invest in as someone who will rely only on myself in my older age. I also have an HSA saving for future healthcare, and I am investing some of it in the stock market. If you could do something for women over 40 who are childfree and single from that perspective, it would be great. Sorry if you have already made a video on this.

I'm in track to retire early. the 401K won't start contributing to my income for 6.5 years after I'm retired, so I'm growing my HYSA and brokerage in preparation.

I hear ya. There are ways to access your 401k early penalty free. Look into the Roth conversion ladder
