i would also say dont be intimidated by shop staff and try the watch you like to see if it feels right. my first non casio watch was a tag formula 1 "indy500" as i fell in love with the look of it. lovely watch but seemed to eat batteries. however, the heart always wanted a navitimer from being a teenager to 40..... something. i got my tag as a birthday present - five years later i plucked up the courage (after many walk pasts) and walked into a breitling boutique, got treated like a 2nd rate citizen but so glad i tried the watch on - with no intention buying at that point. it felt comfortable and right instantly. shopped around for a cheaper price and have never regretted it.

Casio duro is a great option. Costs less than €100 but insane quality and looks great

In my opinion royal London is a good one to start with very underrated but they do some really nice watches even tho they are worth around like 100-200 pounds but they are so worth looking at

Love my Tag- another bit of advice I'd give would be is check the authenticity, Ebay is awash with suoerclone Tags.
