She could have asked nicely instead if barking orders. Cops are supposed to be cordial towards the public. This cop needs to be retrained.

Painful periods are often dismissed. And that dismissal has a cost. In this conversation, Dr. Lori Brotto explains why endometriosis can take up to ten years — or longer — to diagnose. Part of the problem is normalization. When painful periods are treated as just part of life, the warning signs get overlooked. Diagnostic imaging and testing fall short. And women are left without answers. But there's another layer to this. Research shows that when women present to the emergency department with chronic pain, they're more likely to be told it's all in their head than men are. That's not an impression. That's a documented pattern. As Dr. Brotto explains, the gap between when symptoms begin and when a diagnosis is finally made isn't just a medical failure. It's the result of a system that has historically dismissed women's pain. Tune into the full conversation, out now on all major streaming platforms.

This is the house in which Anne Frank hid during WW2. Her family were here in the secret annex between 1942-1944. After a raid they were discovered . Anne died in a concentration camp just a few months before the Second World War ended. Her diary of life in hiding as a 15 year old girl in the Occupied Netherlands became world famous after the war. I sadly know what to expect in the comment section. I found it really odd myself too that tourists would queue up and smile and pose for selfies at the entrance to the house . #annefrank #ww2history #historytok #remembrance #ww2
