Easily one of my favorite smoked smashburgers yet!! I left out the bacon jam from my viral jalapeño popper burger and decided to make it a little more simple but use my smoked Smashburger method but on the @recteq SmokeStone! • 75/25 ground beef • thick cut bacon, diced after cooked • thinly sliced jalapeños • @Meat Church blanco seasoning • havarti cheese • pretzel burger buns • whipped chipotle cream cheese @Philly Cream Cheese • @Melinda's Hot Sauce Jalapeno Ranch To make the burgers, start by forming up the 3-4 oz beef balls. Then head out to the smoker or SmokeStone and fire it up to low! If using a smoker set it to 180°F. Place the beef on and let smoke for 20-30 mins! I also tossed bacon on and let that start to render while the beef smoked, and once the beef is ready you can pull that off and crank the griddle up to high to finish off the bacon. Then it’s really important to clean off the griddle entirely before making the smashburgers! Excess grease can prevent that beautiful crust we always want to see! Place down the beef along with some jalapeños on top, then smash them hard into the griddle or cooktop. Season with your preferred seasoning, then let them cook for about 90 seconds before flipping. Top with havarti cheese, let that steam and melt, then take the Patties off and build the burger! Steamed pretzel bun, whipped cream cheese, diced cooked bacon, two Pattie’s with cheese, jalapeno ranch, and the top bun! Enjoy! #smokedburgers #smashburger #burger #jalapenopoppers #Recipe
