@brizzzworks: Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. Gotta talk about this one. Real talk, this one hit me. Men are nearly 80% of all suicides in the US. We die by suicide about 4x more than women, and a big reason is we’re taught to just hold it all in. Be a man. Handle it by yourself. Never say nothing. I lived that. Had everybody around me and still felt completely alone for years, ‘cause I didn’t trust nobody enough to actually let em in. What flipped it? One choice. I reached out and gave therapy another shot, and real talk, it wasn’t the first one, or the second. Almost gave up on it. But I kept going till I found the one I actually trusted. Changed my whole life. So if you’re a guy reading this, holding it in ain’t strength. Letting people in is. Try therapy. And if the first one ain’t it, don’t quit. Keep looking till you find your person. And check on your boys. Even the ones who look like they’re good. We’re not meant to carry this alone, fr.
