A higher up got on the phone with me and gave me the "fair market value" line which is when I stopped caring about my job. Then the company began outsourcing and announced layoffs for the majority of people, however I was asked to stay on. I said only if it comes with a raise. They said no and I replied "I'll take the layoff." There's an update video pinned on my page that answers the most common questions.
