Yesterday, I had my first PET scan. Here are some of the tips that others shared with me that were helpful. Normally, my husband comes with me to appointments. I had him sit this one out which I’m thankful for. This one has been one of the easiest so far (minus the extra pokes from missing my vein 😬). If your significant other needs to pick and choose appointments due to work, I’d pick to sit this one out. Please share any other tips in comments to help others that are going through this journey. It’s all about getting the perfect colouring on the steak ⬇️ •Pat dry •Pre heat oven to 375F •Salt generously •Let sit in the fridge for 3 + hours until there’s is no moisture on the surface •Use butter , ghee or beef tallow ( beef tallow used here ) & seer for 3 min each side •let rest for 5 min so the blood settles and won’t be bleeding in your plate • pop the steak in the oven for 8 min for a medium steak & 10-12 for a medium-well Seasoned peppers & onions with smoked paprika , adobe & a little old bay Serve with a guac and lime wedges Enjoy #fajitas #texmex #steakdinner #perfectsteak #FoodTok
