Please go strawberry picking, apple picking, pumpkin picking/carving, leaf peeping, go to the mountains and the ocean, try skiing and ice skating! Enjoy a thunderstorm and a blizzard! Lobster rolls, real maple syrup, a county fair, If someone sounds like a dick, I promise they’re kind and helpful! It really is the best here!

Your observations are thoughtful and cute. I think the worst thing about our winters is not the cold but the lack of sunlight. Where I live the sun goes down at 4 p.m. in winter and the winters are sooooo looong. The lack of sunlight has serious effects on one’s soul!
