"Salaries were never meant to make anyone wealthy... it's not supposed to be that way." No, it is supposed to be that way, in an ideal world, depending on the job. You shouldn't have to do other things when you already have a full time job. But this is not an ideal world and a full time job is not enough for most people. Most jobs have not kept up with inflation and the rising cost of living over the years. So this is now the situation we're in and refusing to acknowledge that is a form of lying to yourself. The bigger issue for many people is that they can't break into a space of affording to buy something that will gain value over time or make money when they are living paycheck to paycheck.

I agree with you but problem is people don’t have the money to buy/invest and were never taught how. Minimum wage is supposed to support a minimum Standard of living which obviously doesn’t.
