The message applies to all outdoor activities – clean your gear before your activity and again before leaving the trailhead. For bikers, cleaning mud, plant parts and seeds off of your bike and clothes makes sure that you’re not unintentionally spreading invasive species to new trails. If you don’t have a boot brush, come see us at any farmer’s market or outreach booth event this summer and we’ll give you one for free!
