Opponents fear that the ruling could be used to strip citizenship of all immigrants, and could create stateless children who could be ineligible for education, government support, and legal protection. As if to confirm those fears, the Trump administration removed the Department of State page online which discusses statelessness, a page which had been available in one version or another since at least the Obama administration. The Supreme Court is not expected to release their decision until June or July.
