Narrated by Al-Nasa’i in his Sunan It was narrated from Shaddad bin al-Had (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from among the bedouins came to the Prophet ﷺ, believed in him, and followed him. Then he said:
Narrated by Al-Nasa’i in his Sunan It was narrated from Shaddad bin al-Had (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from among the bedouins came to the Prophet ﷺ, believed in him, and followed him. Then he said: "I will emigrate (make Hijrah) with you." So the Prophet ﷺ entrusted him to some of his Companions. When a battle took place, the Prophet ﷺ acquired some spoils of war (or captives) and distributed them, allocating a share to the bedouin. He gave his share to his Companions to pass it to him, as the bedouin was away grazing their mounts. When he returned, they handed it to him. He asked: "What is this?" They replied: "A share that the Prophet ﷺ has allocated for you." He took it and went to the Prophet ﷺ, asking: "What is this?" The Prophet ﷺ replied: "I have allocated it for you." The bedouin said: "This is not what I followed you for. Rather, I followed you so that I may be shot right here—and he pointed to his throat with an arrow—and die, and then enter Paradise." The Prophet ﷺ said: "If you are truthful with Allah, Allah will be truthful with you." They remained like that for a short while, and then they rose to fight the enemy. Later, the bedouin was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, carried because an arrow had struck him exactly where he had pointed. The Prophet ﷺ asked: "Is it really him?" They replied: "Yes." The Prophet ﷺ said: "He was truthful with Allah, so Allah was truthful with you." Then the Prophet ﷺ shrouded him in his own cloak (Jubbah), placed him forward, and prayed over him. Among the words heard from his prayer was: "O Allah, this is Your slave who went out as an emigrant in Your cause, and was killed as a martyr, and I am a witness to that." #typ #islam #muslim #salafi #islamic_video
