Chickpea Brownies These chickpea brownies are super fudgy, rich, chocolatey, and have that perfect chewy brownie texture. You would never guess the main ingredient is chickpeas. Macros Per Brownie 216 calories 12g fat 18.6g carbs 7g protein Servings 9 brownies Ingredients 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained 1/2 cup natural almond butter 1 tbsp vanilla extract 1/3 cup maple syrup 1/2 cup cacao powder 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 cup milk of choice 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips, mixed into batter 1/8 cup mini chocolate chips, for topping Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add the chickpeas, almond butter, vanilla, maple syrup, cacao powder, baking powder, baking soda, and milk to a blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth and creamy. Fold in 1/4 cup chocolate chips. Pour into a greased or parchment-lined 8x8 baking dish. Top with remaining 1/8 cup chocolate chips.
