The same in very nearly every industry in Australia. Supermarkets, airlines, telecoms, banking, fuel suppliers, rela estate. The same pattern is repeated. Each industry sector dominated a small group of very big companies with a long tail of much smaller companies that all contract, and kowtow, to the handful of majors.

Yep it’s so true. So many people are like “it couldn’t happen here” and I’m like yeah it could. The US used to say the same thing and now look at them. Also totally saying “regressive” instead of “conservative” from now on
