@ajnabi._6x: What makes his work fascinating imo is that many of his observations still are relevant today, even though they were written over 600 years ago. Some even call him the "father of sociology," though that's debated. Another interesting thing is that Muslim civilization produced quite a few major thinkers in politics and society, but they often get overshadowed by European names such as Niccolò Machiavelli, Thomas Hobbes, and John Locke.
