A PICU nurse, Brett Garcia, BSN, RN, RRNA, noticed how often central line dressings were getting ruined before their scheduled change. To tackle this, he created MudFlap: a clear overlay designed to protect existing dressings from spills and snags. When the MudFlap gets dirty, nurses can simply replace it instead of having to open the sterile field for a full dressing change.
