Beredar luas potongan video yang seolah menarasikan Presiden Prabowo meremehkan kesulitan warga desa terkait kenaikan kurs dollar. Tiba-tiba banyak pihak menggoreng isu ini, membenturkannya dengan fakta di lapangan seperti mahalnya harga pupuk, pakan ternak, hingga mengecilnya ukuran tahu dan tempe. Kopdes dirancang khusus sebagai payung pelindung. Sistem ini memotong rantai distribusi kartel yang panjang dan mahal, sehingga kebutuhan pokok dan sarana tani bisa disalurkan langsung dari sumbernya dengan harga yang jauh lebih wajar. Badai ekonomi global saat ini memang sedang kencang. Lewat guncangan ini, kaki kita mungkin terasa basah terkena genangan airnya. Namun, percayalah, pemerintah memastikan bahwa kepala dan badan rakyat desa tetap bernaung aman di bawah tameng ekonomi yang kokoh ini. I’ve been trying to put this into words for a long time. because it’s one of those things I feel deeply but struggle to explain without sounding like I’m romanticizing pain. I’m not. I promise. They’ve already met the worst version of themselves and came back from it. men who’ve never been tested don’t know what they’re capable of in their worst moments. men who have? they’ve already faced that version of themselves. they know what they’re made of. and there’s a quiet confidence that comes from that self-knowledge that nothing else can replicate. 2. They stopped performing strength and started living it younger men perform toughness. it’s loud. it’s defensive. it needs an audience. men who’ve been through real hardship don’t need to perform anything anymore. their strength isn’t for show. it just exists. quietly. in the way they handle problems. in the way they stay calm when everything isn’t. in the way they show up even when it costs them something. 3. Their empathy is earned not assumed there’s a difference between a man who says “I understand” because he thinks he should and a man who says it because he actually does. men who’ve suffered know what it feels like to need someone and not have them. to fall apart in private. to rebuild alone. that experience makes them see other people’s pain differently. more clearly. more gently. 4.
