That is, he was always accommodating to all, both strangers and relations. As a reservoir of wisdom, he was a committed and dedicated and reliable adviser to all who came across him. In the history of Ikhin community, from 1907 till early 1982s, chief Philip Ohimai was one of the most accomplished and successful farmers from Ikhin Clan. He was a great provider to humanity. During his earthly journey he provided a lot of materials and financial assistance to his extended family including the poor, the needy, and strangers that possibly came around him. Chief Philip Ohimai was a man of honour, trustworthy, versatile personality. Chief Philip Ohimai was a man of many parts; he has a penchant for dedication excellence and purposeful leadership. Chief Philip Ohimai Aigbokhaode was a member of Chief and Elders in council ruling of Ikhin Clan, since 1907 till 1964, the year he was fully enthroned, as the 11th Oba in Ikhin Clan.
