Hier genutzte Quellen (die nur einen Bruchteil der gesamten Evidenz ausmachen) ⬇️ Brody et al. 2017: Protective prevention effects on the association of poverty with brain development. Brody et al. 2019: The protective effects of supportive parenting on the relationship between adolescent poverty and resting-state functional brain connectivity during adulthood. Chang et al. 2020: Mechanisms connecting objective and subjective poverty to mental health: Serial mediation roles of negative life events and social support. Dufford et al. 2020: The impact of childhood poverty on brain health: Emerging evidence from neuroimaging across the lifespan. Hostinar & Miller 2019: Protective factors for youth confronting economic hardship: Current challenges and future avenues in resilience research. Javanbakht et al. 2015: Childhood poverty predicts adult amygdala and frontal activity and connectivity in response to emotional faces. Kahhalé et al. 2023: Positive parenting moderates associations between childhood stress and corticolimbic structure. Lipina & Evers 2017: Neuroscience of childhood poverty: Evidence of impacts and mechanisms as vehicles of dialog with ethics. O'Byrne et al. 2026: Perceived socioeconomic vulnerability, but not objective poverty, is linked to interoception through perceived stress. Perkins et al. 2024: Language processing following childhood poverty: Evidence for disrupted neural networks. Qiu et al. 2025: The ecology of poverty and children's brain development: A systematic review and quantitative meta-analysis of brain imaging studies. Swartz et al. 2017: An epigenetic mechanism links socioeconomic status to changes in depression-related brain function in high-risk adolescents.
