if you are trying to pay the remaining medical bill in full instead of setting up a payment plan, when you call to pay ask for a pay in full discount, they will often give 10-20% off but you have to pay it right on that call if they offer the discount. always worth a try!

the healthcare system is a sick joke. it’s so sad to see to see my family and people i know or follow struggle to make ends meet because they are trying to pay for a prescription, procedure/surgery, etc. healthcare should be universal.

You’re probably at your limit for anything extra, but working the early mornings (preload) or evenings (reload/local sort) part time (4-5 hrs per day) for ups qualifies you for the full benefits after 9 months. Doesn’t help immediately like you need, but the health, dental & vision insurance is the literal best out there. Had a hospital visit a couple years ago that cost around $400k & turned into $200 for me

That is so incredibly frustrating. I hate insurance so much. Dr's want me on weight loss meds because I can't do it on my own w my mobility issues but insurance won't pay for that or any kind of weight loss program
