The thing that got me into cottage cheese was using it like burrata. The best sandwich: toasted baguette, garlic olive oil, coppa, salami, prosciutto, cottage cheese with flaky salt and pepper, arugula tossed in lemon juice, balsamic glaze, thinly sliced shallots and the thinnest layer of tomatoes

I tried cottage cheese once when I was 8. my mom was eating it with cantaloupe. I was hesitant to try it. my mom insisted it was good. The texture hit me before the flavor did. it was awful. fast forward to now at 31. I'm still scared to give it a second chance.

I like the flavor of cottage cheese, but I hate the texture. I saw someone on here who just shoved their immersion blender into the container and blended it until smooth. I tried that and it was a game changer.

I used to like cottage cheese as a kid it used to be hand packed so it was thicker and less watery. Then sometime in the 90s it got switched to machine packing and it became looser and waterier (i think thats a word) and I didn't like it anymore
