Spaniels are double coated dogs, this is very dangerous and not at all funny. That woman just took away that poor dogs ability to regulate their temperature. It also causes sunburn, insect bites, skin issues, patchy fur that never recovers, heatstroke and more. Removing something so essential for the dogs breed, their coat which was designed for them and being what they need to survive to the best of their abilities…this is very cruel. Animal abuse. And I don’t say that lightly. During this heatwave, doing this is so dangerous. Poor pup
