My parents had the option of flying to Austria (through visa) or sailing on a DIY boat to the US. My dad chose to risk his life out at sea, if it meant it was to the US. How many other countries do people risk their lives to get to it?

That’s exactly why I no longer listen to the media. It is programming our opinions and providing only selective information that is not accurate. They stopped reporting the news before I was born and I’m 72.

Well said. I’m really enjoying the posts from all of the people visiting for the World Cup. I’m not a soccer fan but I watched the Argentina-Algeria match last night at our home field in Kansas City Missouri. I’m loving the energy, enthusiasm, and passion that these people are showing. I’m also happy for everyone visiting America for the first time, and finding out that we’re friendly, welcoming and hospitable.
