1. Tide was not a factor. 2. The channel marker was visible. 3. It is the watercraft operator’s responsibility to travel at a safe speed. 4. The operator is responsible for remedying anyone blocking his view. 5. Your characterization of the channel marker visibility is inaccurate.

He was definitely responsible. I own a boat for everyone that is on that boat. He should’ve never been going that fast. I think those parents were trying to be their friends and being cool with them. I also believe which I know it’s not proven that he was also drinking heavily just like those teenagers. He looks like a drinker. I know he’s not getting charged with that. They made a big mistake not testing him. He’s definitely guilty of manslaughter or something he should pay not just with money.
